Car recovery after an accident

When you've been involved in a car accident, particularly in an area that you are unfamiliar with, getting your car into a garage to be assessed by an engineer is often a long and complicated process. Lamb & Co will help co-ordinate the safe recovery of your vehicle.

As soon as you call we will arrange for your car to be picked up, whether it's from the scene of the accident or from the drive of your house and taken to a secure, reputable, body shop for inspection and to assess whether it can be repaired.

If you are still at the accident scene we'll also make sure that you're taken home straight away, so you can rest and recover while we get on with organising the assessment and repair of your vehicle on your behalf.

Car accident repair

Once your vehicle has been recovered we will arrange for it to be inspected by a qualified engineer who will advise on whether or not it is economical to repair your vehicle.

We have arrangements with body shops across the UK who will get to work repairing your vehicle as soon as possible. We visit and inspect all of the body shops we work with to ensure we can offer you the highest standards of both legal representation and vehicle repair in England and Wales.

Whilst we aim to repair your vehicle as quickly as possible, often within a week of you notifying us of the car accident, we are well aware that some car repairs take time; that is why we provide like-for-like replacement hire cars from the moment your car is taken in for repairs, till it is returned to you.

There's no need to negotiate the cost of repair with the at-fault party, and you won't need to involve your insurance company. All the costs of repair and hire will be included in your car accident repair and recovery compensation claim.
